6 Women @ 60 in 2006 6 women at 60 in 2006 .com
Six women playwrights will enter their sixties with heart, humor and honesty as they share their one-act plays as staged readings in six locations across the country.
The playwrights will tackle the issues of family, friendship and aging through original works written for audiences of all ages. These weekend festivals will be presented on six separate weekends in various locations during 2006.

Conceived by two baby boomer playwrights, the festivals will celebrate the energy and creativity of the older artist. Productions will feature local directors and actors with the birthday playwrights available for after play discussions.
Birthday cake will be served at all six events (but no candles!).
